Types of Accomodation

In Australia we have on mountain and off mountain accommodation. On the mountain is often more expensive unless you can find a deal. I have found using Agoda has helped me find some really good deals for both hotel and cabins. They appear to drive a harder bargain keeping more money in your pocket.

I have used others but I have now switched to Agoda, they are smaller and seem to care more about creating good deals.

New South Wales

There are three main areas.

Thredo

Perisher, Charlottes Pass

Jindabyne

There are also smaller family resorts and you may find better deals.

Victoria

There are more areas to choose:

Fall Creek, and Mt Hotham

They are part of the same range area and about 15 miles apart or a 4 hour drive. It is located about 5 Hours from Melbourne.

Mt Buller:

Is located near Mansfield about 2 hours from Melbourne.

Romantic Holidays

That would be on the mountain in your own cabin or lodge.

Try Charlottes Pass, Mt Hotham and Falls Creek.

These location have a greater choice.
