Scuba Diving Australia

Where to go diving, who to go diving with and what type of diving do you want to do?

Australia has some of the best diving in the world.

Yes people think of the The Great Barrier Reef when diving in Australia is mentioned, yet the Great Barrier Reef is only a small portion of the Vast Australian coastline.

Australia's Southern coastline also has some amazing diving with exceptional visibility and many sea creatures not found in the North.

One example is Flinders Pier in the town of Flinders near Sorrento, it is 1 hour South of the Melbourne CBD, on the Mornington Peninsula.

This location is home to the famous Australian Sea Dragon.

To be specific the The Weedy Sea Dragon, Australia is home to two types. Leafy Sea Dragon and Weedy Sea Dragon.
