Bundaberg

Bundaberg is a city on Queensland's coast. It's known for the iconic drink Bundaberg Rum, and the Bundaberg Distillery offers museum tours and tastings.

Bundaberg Botanic Gardens is home to the Hinkler Hall of Aviation, dedicated to solo long-distance pilot Bert Hinkler. The Coast is not far away and home to sea turtles.

Bundaberg is also a departure point to some beautiful offshore islands, Lady Elliot Island, part of the Southern Great Barrier Reef is about 30 miles of the coast. It has some amazing diving

Bundaberg is also an all weather deep water port with good leads and protection for all boats once inside the heads.

Anchorage can be found just in the heads, a little further up at the marina, about a mile past the marina there is an excellent free anchorage with very good holding and hour or more up the river you with find the town centre of Bundaberg with mooring, and room to anchor.
