About me
Life Lived the
Hard Way

G'day I'm Trev born in Australia, raised on the land. Learned to hunt and survive as a boy, learned to love adventure as a young man travelling Australia and the world by land and sea.

I would define my life as Adventurer, Soldier, Father

Being a Dad stands out as the greatest adventure I have ever lived, I learned what true love is. The love you have for you child stronger than any bond I have ever know.

I started this website back in 2010 to help other Dads and Mums provide adventure holidays for their disabled children.

For most of my adult life I have worked in Australian Special Forces, The Special Air Service Regiment.

I learnt a lot and taught a lot of skills to young men and women from Australia and many other countries.

So when my son was born and we learned he would be confined to a wheelchair, it was hard to accept but accept we did and in time we learned to adapt. Your less abled child wants to experience adventures just as much as his abled body mates.

His or her smile is proof, My Jack sitting in the sand between my legs with his fishing rod and the waves crashing, toes wiggling in the sand his smile is to die for, I will remember it forever.

My jack has now past, he lost his battle with Mitochondrial Disease in 2015. It has taken me fours years to write those words. My loss is still very real but my memories of those amazing adventure holidays we enjoyed live for ever. So bank some memories whilst you can.

I have since purchased TINTIN a yacht, I have left the Army and I am now searching for the most beautiful island in the Pacific to spread Jacks ashes, as I promised him one day I would take him to swim in the most beautiful place on earth.

Jack and my adventure continues on TINTIN, we will also visit many land locked places and let you know how to get there, at the moment we are trying gold detecting whilst refitting TINTIN after a trip to PNG.

Trying to learn to go slower.
